About Us

Thank you for your interest in DRR products. We are receiving great reviews on our excellent line of ATV's. In 2000 DRR set out to raise the bar on youth ATV's. Being an avid rider, the owner, realized while riding with his sons that ATV's should be made better so he made THE BEST. DRR was the first to incorporate brake lights, kids soft suspensions, and extra wide axels all for the safety of children. We are also consumer product safety compliant see above for list of legal ATV companies.

CDI/WIREING

Q: If I install your CDI will the electric start still work?

A: Yes, the ignition and the starting/charging system are completely different systems. If electric start does not work after installation, wires are installed wrong. This setup will only eliminate their stock shut off switches.

Q: If your CDI eliminates their stock shutoff switches, how do I shut my quad off?

A: This is where the required Pro Design Tether Kill Switch comes into play.

Q: What do I do with extra wires?

A: Sometimes there will be extra wires off the ATV that you will need to just tape off, they will remain unused. Double check the wiring diagram. This will not cause damage.

Q: Why won’t my quad start after I wired up your CDI?

A: The most common mix-up is the black/white wire; this is the wire that changes the system.  Unplug it and see if it starts. This is where the killswitch wires into.

Q: How do I wire in the orange and black wires with the connector on them?

A: Two ways,
1st- From the stock Wiring harness there is a connector that it will easily plug in.
2nd- Cut the connector off of the new CDI and add wire for length and solder the orange wire to the coil wire. Than ground the black wire to chassis ground.

*** THE CDI MUST BE WIRED UP EXACTLY AS THE INSTUCTIONS SHOW.
